Mark Faenza

Mark comes from a family of builders, following in his grandfather and father’s footsteps. In 1983 his father, Richie, moved to Charleston and formed Seamar Inc.
Mark grew up in the Lowcountry working on his fathers job sites.

He started out at a young age doing all the grunt work, moving lumber, sweeping out houses, installing gravel in crawl spaces, and various other forms of manual labor.

During his summers and spring breaks from College of Charleston he began assisting subcontractors to learn about the various trades and processes. Mark has said “there is nothing more important than a firsthand education.”

After graduating from College of Charleston in 2006 with a degree in Applied Mathematics, Mark joined the Seamar team full time starting out as an Assistant Project Manager and working his way up the ladder.

Mark enjoys building custom luxury homes because it is not just about building houses, it is about building relationships, getting to know our clients likes and dislikes.
After all a person’s dream house should be a representation of their character and personality.

Steve Parham

My grandfather was a cabinet maker, and it was during those many summers working in his shop, that I learned to love wood working." His education in the trade continued under the tutelage of his uncle, a home builder.

Early in his career, Steve was fortunate to have gained the invaluable experience of working with "real building contractors." He explained that back in those days they literally built the entire home, not using many subcontractors; they cleared the lots, poured the foundations, did the framing and installed the siding. "This hands-on experience now makes it easier to communicate with both employees and subcontractors, they know that almost anything that I ask of them, I have done myself," Steve said.

He has been building in the Charleston area since 1982 and joined the Seamar group in 1994. Steve and his wife, Angie, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. He is an avid hunter and fisherman in the Lowcountry tradition. When not at work, hunting or fishing, you might find him out on a cruise of our beautiful lowcountry waterways with his family.
